Snow Fairytale for Moldova's Anna Odobescu on Eurovision 2019 semifinal 2
The second semi-final of Eurovision-2019 in Tel Aviv was snowy. At number 3, Moldova appeared, a young singer from Dubossary, Anna Odobescu, with the song "Stay". The decoration of the song was a live drawn snow animation by Kseniya Simonova.
The snow story about love and separation, about the feelings of a woman, when a drama in a relationship comes, was painted only with hands - live performance - nothing more - neither a computer, nor a graphic tablet, no 3D mapping... Here and now - real hands in the eyes of the spectators drew images that turned into others, developing a story.
Unfortunately, Moldova didn’t have enough for passing to the final (8th place in the jury’s vote, 13th place - TV viewers vote), but the audience’s comments prove –– Anna and Kseniya’s performance was remembered and liked.
Anna Odobescu and Kseniya Simonova announced future joint projects, and also Simonova will soon present her snow and sand art in one of the big television projects. Which one? Follow our news!
