Tatler Asia: «...the return of the highly-anticipated event, often referred to as the LACMA party, which is taking place during Art Basel. Here’s what to expect from one of the hottest private parties of the season...»
As the largest art museum in the western United States with a collection of more than 149,000 objects that highlight 6,000 years of artistic expression across the globe, LACMA [Los Angeles County Museum of Art] has made a name for itself in the Special Administrative Region with its unforgettable event experiences during Art Basel. Previous editions of the event were hosted at cultural and historic sites of Hong Kong, including the Harilela Mansion in 2017, Jumbo Kingdom in 2018 and The Mills in 2019.
This year’s event, The ReStart Art Club, was hosted by cultural strategist, writer and patron princess Alia Al-Senussi and entrepreneur Dino Sadhwani, and was held at K11 Atelier King’s Road, where art, fashion and culture will collide. In celebration of the reinvigoration of the international art scene in Hong Kong, this exclusive invite-only soirée led guests on a multi-sensory journey that will explore the binaries of art—the familiar and foreign, digital and analog, and the acoustic and electronic.
Kseniya Simonova performed her sand animation story «Always Restart» for the guests of the party wearing an ultimate red haute couture dress. Her sand story was devoted to time age the circle of life. You can see it in the video.
Now Kseniya has left Hong Kong to return to her creative studio where she works in a new music video for Canadian band «October Project».
